1 • The museums in the area and the legacy of the past

The small civic and diocesan museums and the works preserved in them can tell us about the history of the area in many ways, many more than we can imagine.

Edited by Tea Fonzi, iconologa

21 May, ore 18.30
2 • Seeing with new eyes

The works of art of the past speak a language that today we are not able to fully understand. Let's try to look at paintings and polyptychs with the eyes of our predecessors.

Edited by Tea Fonzi, iconologa

28 May, ore 18.30
3 • Bits of history in the upper Chienti valley

Retrace the ancient history of the municipalities of the upper Chienti valley: from prehistoric times to the Piceni, from the Romans to the Middle Ages and discover together the dense network of people and anecdotes that over the millennia has given life to these wonderful villages to be explored.

Curated by Mauro Fiorentini, archaeologist

4 June, ore 18.30
4 • The Blue Theaters

A journey to discover the small historical theaters, authentic 19th century architectural jewels,
in the region called the Land of Theaters. Because there are so many?

Edited by Enzo Fusari, architect

11 June, ore 18.30
5 • Countries of the 20th century

The traces left by the twentieth century in the villages of the Val di Chienti, widespread among municipal art galleries and museums of various contents, offer the opportunity to rethink artistic and historical events in a more detached way, but participating in a web of culture and civilization that reaches down to our days and leads us to look with optimism beyond the difficulties of the present.

Curated by Roberto Cresti, Professor of Contemporary Art History
