Dear friends,
It is with pleasure that I present the new city brand, on trademark of the city of San Ginesio.
If on the one hand globalization has helped to bring us closer together, on the other hand it has made us all similar and this is true for both people and places.
Stand out from the crowd, find an identity that is not only adherent to the spirit that animates the places, but that it can simultaneously be communicated is, today, the real challenge.
Identity and communication are, in fact the winning couple to hook people's interest, of tourists outside the local context alone.
What I present to you is our new symbol, which will travel together with all the many activities that will lead San Ginesio towards its rebirth.
I wanted a logo that was strongly identifying on a symbolic and iconographic level.
“San Ginesio” is articulated in the space with graphic-iconic letters, architectural and historical elements or heraldic signs: the statue of Alberico Gentile, the Picene gate, the bell towers, the facade of the collegiate church, the gamma of the heraldic coat of arms of the city, they are arranged in some letters also differentiated by color.
The name is already an identity and the graphic play creates that attentional curiosity, where the symbolic elements of the city are fully understood.
We wanted to add the claim to the graphic element, that is to say, our "motto" beyond the spell.
The word "beyond" is very evocative, and if on the one hand it refers to Leopardi's infinity poem on the other it recalls the idea of new perspectives with which to read reality (also thanks to digital).
"Incanto" refers to the gaze in the moment of wonder at the beauty of a heritage (infinite) which concerns San Ginesio on a historical-artistic level, landscape and food and wine. If we want, in this claim there is also something of the gesture of "raising the curtain" on a scene – and there we return to the universe of the theatre,sphere equally dear to the historical identity of the country.
